The use of lubricants and oils is sometimes necessary when processing sheet metal parts. For example, cooling lubricants are used before turning, milling, or forming oils. Since the residues of the grease and oils have a disturbing effect in further processing steps, degreasing is necessary in preparatory surface treatment.
